Yappy HourTM wine and snacks for you held the 2nd Thursday of every month; treats for your dog at Jefferson Feed, Pet and Garden Center, 4421 Jefferson Highway at Central Ave. 5 p.m.-8 p.m. For a $10 donation to the Jefferson Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals, there is fun and food for all. Animal Magnetism: A Photo Exhibit, to benefit the Louisiana SPCA. Pet lovers from throughout the metropolitan area will have a chance to win prizes by submitting their pets’ photographs at the second annual pet photography show, Animal Magnetism: A Photo Exhibit, to benefit the Louisiana SPCA. The show will take place in late August at Duque Art Center, 3218 Magazine St., 2nd floor. The contest is open to the public. Entries will be accepted from June 21st – August 9th.
