LA/SPCA Dog Day Afternoon, held at Audubon Park,
features a walk/jog around the park, crazy pet
tricks, Frisbee catch, a people-pet-look-alike
contest and the first-ever “Shelter Alumni”
contest. A Food Court, showcasing local festival-foods,
Canine Good Citizen testing by The Visiting Pet
Program, carnival games (poop toss, flea dip and
many more) and live music from The Distractions
round out the day. Mr. Ronnie Virgets has agreed
